Windows 8 Tablet Over iPad|| windows vs ipad

Microsoft has declared that official release date of its new operating system; Windows 8 is 26thOctober. When the touchscreen-friendly operating system becomes highly present on tablet devices after this year, will this make the present necessity? The Apple iPad seems low impressive in comparison?
We have been utilizing the Samsung Series 7 slate loaded by Windows 8 release preview for a time now. Hence, there will remain be moderating to the ultimate form of the operating system, the prime enhancements are already in preview. According to the performance, the series 7 slate is bit top-of-the-line, equipping the new Intel Ivy Bridge processor and all essential strong-state drive.

Windows 8 TabletInterface made for touchscreen -Bill Gates has been a powerful supporter of tablet PC from much long time. One of the hugest causes why it was never very famous with customers was just because the user interface. Microsoft offered was not really very good. Do you remember Windows XP Tablet PC edition? Number of times, you have to utilise a stylus to navigate the operating system, and text input was chore in case the device you utilize did not have a hardware keyboard.
Windows 8 is very distinct in that is was made from ground up to be touch-friendly. Its faultless screen sports the Metro interface 1st seen on Windows Phone 7. Menu times and icons are big to accommodate finger taps and there are different swipe actions users can practice to carry context menus.
Desktop mode -Even if you get the Metro interface as default view, the traditional Windows desktop is remain there. Programs mad for Windows 7 perform in Windows 8, and you just need to include a keyboard and mouse to get same Windows PC feel.
Now, one might argue that this is not what a tablet is for, that in case you wished a complete-fledged PC then mode purchase one of those. However those who consistently carry both laptop and an iPad and get that cumbersome might see the facts of Window 8 tablet.
Microsoft Office 2013 -This week, the firm also disclosed the new form of office, its famous productivity software suite. It is majorly so for the spread-sheet application Excel, and crucial tool for number of business users. In the latest form, Microsoft has made moderation to the user interface therefore it is much appropriate for touchscreens.
So, do you still want that iPad?The tablet market is one, which is remaining growing. Even if Android has been playing at this place from some time, it occurs to be room for another non-iOS system to be fruitful- partially because there still has not been one highly persuasive Android device that rivals incumbent. Actually, Microsoft wishes to show the way with its Surface tablets that seem surely appealing on paper.
A very recent research represented that iPads are majorly utilized for browsing the entertainment, internet activities like music and video playback also playing games. Now thing of it, would you utilize a likely – to -be weightier and much costly device equated to iPad to work those similar tasks?
Definitely, there will be a group who wish to do severe work on tablet, and Windows 8 device will fit that bill because it will also be a complete fledged PC. However for mostly, an iPad will remain fit their requirements, and they will might wait and see what Windows 8 serves before deciding a choice.

Amazon Kindle Fire HD || Amazon announces 7 and 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD|| Most Advanced 7" Tablet - Only $199

Amazon's Kindle Fire quickly became a powerhouse of media content consumption when it was introduced in 2011, and Amazon's looking to maintain that momentum with the just-announced Kindle Fire HD.
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos took the stage in Santa Monica, Calif. on Thursday to introduce the Kindle Fire HD, a new umbrella that covers 7- and 8.9-inch tablets with a variety of data options.
TechRadar was on hand to take the Kindle Fire HD in all its flavors out for a spin.
Kindle Fire HD specs and design
Hands On: Kindle Fire HD
The base 7-inch Kindle Fire HD is incredibly light, at 13.9 ounces and 8.8mm thin, with a rubbery backing that makes it easy to grip.
Hands On: Kindle Fire HD Review
The new HD display packs a 1920x1200 resolution with in-plane switching and 254 PPI, and frankly it looks gorgeous. HD movies like The Hunger Games flow by with perfection, and games like Jetpack Joyride looked crisp despite their pixelated graphics.
Hands On: Kindle Fire Review
An advanced true wide polarizing filter and omni-directional, full spectrum color make the display look great from every angle, and a touch sensor laminated to the display rather than simply being stacked on top of it means a sharper image, better contrast and 25 percent less glare, according to Bezos.
A new HD front-facing camera supports Skype integration, and also provides a handy way to tell when the Kindle Fire HD is upside-down, since there are no physical buttons on the front bezel (volume and lock controls are on the side of the device).
Hands On: Kindle Fire Review
An HD tablet isn't complete without HDMI out, and the Kindle Fire HD sports bluetooth as well.
All that would be meaningless if the Kindle Fire HD didn't pack a punch, and under the hood you'll find the TI OMAP 4470 processor, 16GB of storage (vs. the Kindle Fire's 8GB), new dual stereo speakers with Dolby Digital Plus, and two dual-band 2.4 and 5GHz Wi-Fi antennas for more consistent and speedier connections.
Hands On: Kindle Fire HD
Combined with new-ish MIMO tech that improves reception of redundant signals, all-in-all the Kindle Fire HD's Wi-Fi is reportedly 41 percent faster than the latest Apple iPad and 54 percent faster than the Google Nexus 7.
That all sounds great on paper, though in practice the Kindle Fire HD may be overreaching a bit - it stuttered for up to 10 seconds as we switched between games, videos, music, web, periodicals, and other categories on the home screen, though the new carousel/quick access interface is snappy enough.
Pre-order from Amazon UK Pre-order from Amazon US Kindle Fire HD UI
Games took a rather long time to load as well, though that may come down to developers more than the hardware itself.
The Kindle Fire HD brings several new features that streamline the user experience: Whispersync saves game, book (audio books, too) and movie progress in the cloud, and X-Ray for movies (using IMDB) can tell you what actors are in every scene, providing profiles, filmographies and everything else you expect from the site.
Hands On:Kindle Fire HD
They've even got X-Ray for textbooks now.
"Immersion Reading" fuses audio and text books for, mixing the two together by highlighting words on the screen as the narrator speaks them.
And Kindle FreeTime lets parents set different time limits for different types of content, so kids can read unlimited books but only play, say, an hour of movies and games.
Early Verdict
Like the new Kindle Paperwhite to the original Kindle, the Kindle Fire HD is an upgrade to the Kindle Fire in every way.
More than anything, it continues to provide an easy-to-navigate gateway to Amazon's massive content library, and now more than ever before, everything is in the cloud.
Hands On: Kindle Fire 2 HD Review
Buggy navigation can be fixed, so we'll reserve judgment until the device ships.
The 7-inch Kindle Fire HD ships Sept. 14 at $199 for 16GB, while the 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD ships for $299 on Nov. 20, also with 16GB.
There's also a $499 8.9-inch option with 32GB and 4G LTE compatibility - plans will cost $50 per year for 250MB a month, 20GB of cloud storage, and $10 in Amazon credit.
Additional data will run 3GB for $30 and 5GB for $50 through AT&T, an Amazon representative revealed at the event.
The 8.9-incher was not available for a hands-on demo at the unveiling on Thursday, though TechRadar did manage to snap some images of it.

Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 launched|| Nokia's new Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 with Windows Phone 8

Nokia Lumia 920 and 820
The Nokia Lumia 920 brings a raft of technology firsts to the table, on top of all the great advantages offered by Windows Phone 8 and exceptional industrial design, making it our new flagship smartphone device and what we believe is the world’s most innovative phone.Today, Nokia announced its first Lumia smartphones powered by Windows Phone 8: the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820. Image is everything
This is the best camera we’ve ever put in a smartphone. It offers the latest in PureView technology to allow for photography in much lower light conditions than has ever been the case on a smartphone previously. This is combined with genuine Optical Image Stabilization for dramatically reduced blur and movement.
In the words of Nokia EVP for Smart Devices, Jo Harlow, the PureView technology found in the Lumia 920 makes “it possible for a smartphone camera to take the kind of images usually only seen on a standalone SLR camera”.
The Lumia 920 also features PureMotion HD+ display technology, powering its generous 4.5-inch screen with the fastest, brightest, most-sensitive and highest resolution display ever seen in this market.
More power; more speed
Power management for smartphones reaches unprecedented levels of usability with our largest ever battery (2000mAh). And now wireless charging – available on both the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 – makes topping up your power level faster and more convenient than ever before, both at home and in the office, and at venues such as cafes and airport lounges.
Our second Windows Phone 8 device is the Nokia Lumia 820. Here again, you’ll be able to experience all the new features of the platform in a stunningly designed package, a 4.3-inch screen, and the same fantastic performance levels offered by the 1.5GHz Dual Core Snapdragon S4 processor common to each device. The Lumia 820 meets the needs of the modern phone user with an exchangeable shell design for sports, going out with friends or staying charged the whole day.
Windows Phone 8 offers advantages like Internet Explorer 10, deeper integration with your PC, improved business grade security, together with the more personal, people-centred approach to showing and using information that has delighted users of earlier Lumia smartphones.
Finding the future
On the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820, our signature Location apps are extended and made more powerful:
  • Nokia Maps for Windows Phone 8 is going to work offline and will integrate walk navigation, an augmented reality view and venue maps.
  • We’ve refreshed Nokia Transport to support search history, to get automatic over-the-air coverage updates, to be more user friendly and to integrate Nokia Maps walk navigation.
  • Nokia City Lens is even better on Lumia powered by Windows Phone 8: you can now decide to get information only about the places in your line of sight and pin category tiles to the start screen.
Location on the Nokia Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 get a further, hardware-based boost with autonomous assisted GPS and GLONASS receivers. This means that you can see yourself on a map within seconds, even when you’re offline.
Our new Lumia phones come in a wide and vivid range of colours. The Nokia Lumia 920 comes in yellow, red, grey, white and black. The Nokia Lumia 820 goes two steps further with yellow, red, grey, cyan, purple, white and black models.
Both phones will be available in select markets in pentaband LTE and HSPA+ variants later this year. Prices and release dates will be revealed in separate, later announcements.
There’s a lot to take in here. And we’ll be covering each part of these announcements in separate, detailed posts and videos. Stay tuned over the next days to learn more about latest in PureView, wireless charging, Location, PureMotion HD+ and to see the two new devices in more detail.

best iphone fore ever || iPhone 5 HD photos appear with specific measurements|| IPHONE 5 SPECIFICATIONS

If you were looking for a set of high-definition photos of the new iPhone 5 (or whatever they’ll end up calling it) next to the iPhone 4 AND the iPhone 3G, today’s you’re lucky day. Today a collection of photos have been revealed by where they’ve gotten their hands on what appears to be an iPhone 5 case model – handed out to 3rd party accessory manufacturers so that they might know the shape and size of the device before it’s released. Here you’ll see the next iPhone – or this heavily trafficked model that certainly appears to be the iPhone 5 – next to a couple of its predecessors as well. The folks at Sohu have gotten their hands on a measured model of Apple‘s newest iPhone as well – showing it to be 124.46 × 58.58 × 7.41mm. They compare this set of measurements to the iPhone 4/4S which come in at 115.2 × 58.6 × 9.3mm. This tells us that the new iPhone is almost exactly the same width of the iPhone 4/4S but is certainly taller by about 10mm. This also shows that the new iPhone is just about 2mm thinner than the previous iPhone, as you can also see in the picture below. This image also shows that the new iPhone will be working with much slimmer sections of glass on top of and on back of the device – though we’ve seen here and before that the back of the device will very likely be mostly aluminum with a couple sections of glass at the top and bottom for signal strength. The sides of the device appear to have two section breaks and the same sized volume buttons as well as screen lock – and the screen lock has a slightly smaller section of red coloring whilst locked, too.n352029244_6n352029244_2n351455916_1
n352029244_1n352029244_4The iPhone 5 will very likely take on a whole lot smoother appearance as far as individual bits and pieces than we expected when the first “renders” were shown off weeks ago. Here we’re seeing an iPhone that seems downright Apple-worthy – realistic, that is. Have a peek at the timeline below to see additional important news blasts and/or tips and leaks in the history of the release of this device and stay tuned for more! The next-generation iPhone has been rumored to be making its first appearance next month!
